Individual counseling, also known as psychotherapy, talk therapy, or one-on-one therapy is a process where a client and therapist work together to address emotional, psychological, or behavior issues in a confidential setting. Individual counseling can help with an amalgamation of concerns including: Anxiety Depression Substance abuse Relationship Challenges Parenting problems School difficulties Career changes and more! There are many different approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, interpersonal relationship therapy, and solution-focused therapy that are utilized here at Heal.Grow.Evolve.Thrive! Sessions typically last 45-50 minutes. We accept ages as young as 4 and as seasoned as 104!
